2007-2008 Cheerleading

General Information: As a Temple cheerleader, you'll always have some of the best "seats" in the house! The tradition of excellence for our football program, and our successes on the basketball court offer an exciting backdrop for cheerleaders and fans alike. Away games (when applicable) offer regular travel opportunities to every corner of New England and the Mid-Atlantic States, including post-season playoffs for football and a chance for courtside "seats" to the NCAA basketball tournament. We also make the annual trip to the National Collegiate Cheer Championships. Our involvement in public appearances outside the sporting venue also makes our program one of the most high-profile in the country. Requirements

2008 Cheerleading Tryout Requirements 2008 - 2009 Cheerleading Tryout ~ Open House Clinic April 14-18 7pm-9pm @ McGonigle ~ Tryouts April 21-25 7pm-9pm @ McGonigle Final Tryout is Saturday April 26 TBD ~ All candidates must be present during the Actual Tryout Week ~ if you are not able to attend please submit a video. All candidates for Cheerleading Team must have a physical performed by a Temple University physician prior to tryouts. Candidates may go to Student Health Services on Temple's main campus or make an appointment at Temple Hospital for a physical. Click here for the hours of operation for Student Health Services. Temple Cheerleaders participate during Football games, Men's and Women's Basketball games, and University and Community appearances.
