Mary Wooley enters her second season as Temple's Director of Basketball Operations, after spending three seasons as the Owls' graduate assistant. Wooley assists the team in all aspects, including travel, equipment and scheduling. She is also heavily involved in the planning and operation of the Dawn Staley Basketball Camp and Academy.
As a graduate assistant, Wooley helped the team with community relations, film exchange and recruiting.
A 2002 graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken, Wooley was a four-year member of the Lady Pacers' basketball team. She captained the squad during her junior and senior seasons, leading the team to a Peach Belt Conference Championship, back to back Northern Division titles and the school's first ever NCAA Division II appearance. The team was also ranked in the Top 25 for both its athletic and academic ability.
Wooley completed her masters of education in counseling psychology at Temple in the spring of 2005 and is currently pursuing her PhD in kinesiology, specializing in exercise and sport psychology.
