Senior Andrew Fries and sophomore Brad McFadden finished second in their events to lead Temple to a sixth place showing at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track Championship at the University of Massachusetts on Sunday. Fries recorded a distance of 191-6, while McFadden ran a IC4A qualifying-time of 53.53 and was edged by just 0.03 in the event.
The Temple men's track team stands in eighth place after one day at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track Championships, hosted by the University of Massacshuetts. The Temple men's and women's outdoor track teams will travel to the University of Massachusetts this weekend for the 12th annual Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championship. The men will look to better their best-ever showing from a year ago (fifth), while the women have several athletes in the mix for individual titles.
