Honors: Named MAC Specialist of the Week (Nov. 19, 2007).

2007: Played in all 12 games ... one of 20 true freshmen to see game action ... also saw action on punt return unit ... finished the season with seven returns for 73 yards ... made first career reception with a seven-yard grab in the win over Northern Illinois ... named the coaches' special teams player of the game following the win over Kent State ... had a career-long 18-yard reception against the Golden Flashes ... made an 11-yard catch at Western Michigan ... lettered.

Postgraduate: Had 22 catches for four TDs in 2006 under head coach John Shuman at Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy ... program also produced Temple letterwinners Dwavon Battle, Wilbert Brinson, and Jason Harper.

High School: A 2006 graduate of James Monroe HS in Fredericksburg, Va. ... named the Free Lance Star Player of the Year after passing for 1,076 yards and 19 TDs, while rushing for 760 yards and eight scores, to lead the Yellow Jackets to an 11-2 record and their first regional title in 10 years ... earned first-team All-Region and Washington Post first-team All-Battlefield District honors under head coach Richard Serbay ... Prep Star All-Atlantic Region selection ... also a varsity basketball and track and field letterwinner ... earned team MVP honors on the hardwood and All-State accolades on the track ... winner of the Bobby Jones Scholarship, the Ralph "Tuffy" Hicks Competitive Spirit Award, the NAACP Philip Y. Wyatt Leadership Award, and the U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award.
