Passa comes from Manhasset High School in New York. He was an All-County wrestler in high school and also received accolades for being a scholar-athlete. He received three varsity letters in wrestling along with two in crew. His crew team had a top 10 finish in the New York Scholastic Championships. Passa is majoring in Pre-Medicine.
