T.J. DiLeo and Andrew "Scootie" Randall have signed National Letters of Intent to attend Temple University on men's basketball scholarships, announced Owls' head coach Fran Dunphy.
For the second consecutive season the Temple men's basketball team will play the defending NCAA Champion as the Owls have reached an agreement on a home-and-home series with the University of Kansas. Temple will travel to historic Allen Fieldhouse for a December 20, 2008 game to open the series with the Jayhawks playing the Owls in the 2009-10 season at the Wachovia Center. Read More >
Temple University garnered the lionshare of honors at the 63rd annual Herb Good Basketball Awards Dinner as head coach Fran Dunphy and seniors Mark Tyndale and Chris Clark were named Coach of the Year, Co-Player of the Year and Most Improved Player Monday evening at Colleen's by Les in the Holiday Inn. Junior guard Dionte Christmas won the Palumbo Award as the Big 5's top scorer for the second straight season and joined Tyndale as a First Team all-Big 5 Philadelphia 5 selection. Read More >
