Highest scorer in Temple basketball history with 1,767 points in three varsity seasons. First team All-American as Owls compiled 74-16 record during "Rodgers Era" under Harry Litwack. Holds the University records for most assists one game (15 against Manhattan) and most assists one season (185 in 1956-57). Named most valuable player as Temple captured the 1957 Holiday Festival. Following graduation became an All-Pro guard in the National Basketball Association. Toured with the College All Stars against the Harlem Globetrotters and won MVP honors.
