Captain of both the basketball and baseball teams. Won three letters in basketball and two in baseball. Earned All-American and All-East honors after the 1941-42 basketball season. Named to the All-City team three years. Second baseman in baseball. Batted .300 and .329 two seasons he played. Played professional basketball with Wilmington Blue Bombers and the Philadelphia Warriors. Captained the Warriors to the Basketball Association of America championship during 1946-47 season. Past president of the Temple University Varsity Club.
