Head coach of Temple football team from 1925 to 1932. Produced an outstanding 50-15-8 record. Raised Temple football to a level of national importance. During his tenure Temple had a winning record every season against some of the nation's top teams. His 1927 team walloped Blue Ridge, 110-0, still the highest score in the school's history. Played end for Penn and was named to the Walter Camp All-American team in 1918. Assisted Bert Bell with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1942. Deceased 1965.
