Highest scorer in Temple women's basketball history. Scored 85 percent of the team's field goals and foul shots from 1919-1922. Captain of the 1922 team which was Eastern Intercollegiate Basketball Champion. Member of the team compiling 67 consecutive victories. Played professional basketball with Scott-Powell team in 1923-1926 touring United States and Canada. Was first woman athlete to become a byline sportswriter for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Covered women's and men's sports for 23 years. Was first woman in the United States Lawn Tennis Writers Association.
