Lettered in hockey, softball, basketball for four years at Temple. Captain of basketball team in 1950. Set a Temple and Eastern League scoring record with 185 points in one season. All-college Field Hockey first team. In 1953 made all-Philadelphia First Team and received honorable mention on sectional and national teams. Member of College of Education Alumni Board for 25 years. Organizer and first president of Owlette Alumni Club. Served on Hall of Fame Selection Committee for two years. Received General Alumni Association Certificate of Honor from College of Education. First president of Alumnae Club for Women's Athletics.
