A hockey participant at Temple for two years. Captain of the team her senior year. Competed in Mid-Atlantic Track Championships for seven years. Member of All-American track team from 1944-46. Qualifier for 1948 Olympic Games. Equaled Women's 60 yd. dash record in 1948. Coach of hockey, bowling, basketball, volleyball, softball, also coached boys' basketball and baseball teams. Teacher of P.E. for 25 years. First and only woman secondary school principal in Florida from 1966-71. District chairman for Florida High Schools Athletic Association in girls' softball and boys' baseball and basketball for seven years. Played hockey until 1954.
