One of Temple's finest basketball players in the early thirties. Captained the Owls during the 1933-34 season under the late Jimmy Usilton, Sr., also a member of the Temple Hall of Fame. Played three varsity seasons at Temple and was a starter all three years. Named to the Eastern Inter-Collegiate Basketball Conference All-Star Team. Played in the Eastern Professional League after his graduation from Temple. A brilliant all-around athlete at South Philadelphia High School, he starred in baseball and basketball. Earned All-League honors there as the team won the 1930-31 Public League Basketball Championship. Has served Temple as an officer with many alumni organizations.
