One of the finest all-around athletes in Temple history. A four-sport standout from 1941-44. Captain, field hockey team and All-College I, 1944. Member of the varsity basketball, tennis and gymnastics teams. Received Temple's White Blazer Award while a junior. President, Class of 1944. Member Astron Honor Society and Phi Delta Pi Sorority. Health and Physical Education Department Head, Charles Ellis School 1960-77. Chairperson, Philadelphia Board of Women Officials. Received 25 Year Service Silver Award for basketball in 1970 and field hockey in 1974.
