An outstanding all-around athlete, she played on 11 varsity teams in basketball, field hockey and tennis. Captain of the basketball team in 1942. Was vice-president of the Women's Athletic Association. Was Woman of the Year in 1942. Was one of ten Outstanding Seniors and received the University Award for athletics, character and scholarship. Co-founded the Women's Athletic Program at Trenton State and coached basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, tennis, and track. Listed in "Who's Who of American Women." President of the New Jersey Association for health, Physical Education and Recreation in 1975.
