Notes: Allison Frengs scored nine goals and assisted on one other to lead Temple to a 1-1 week and a #4 seed in the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championship. In Friday's win over La Salle, the senior scored five goals, dished one assist and collected five draw controls to aid in the 16-12 victory. In Sunday's game at Saint Joseph's, she scored four goals, including three in a late four-goal comeback bid. The Collingswood, N.J. native now has 41 goals and seven assists on the season, thanks to 24 straight games with either a goal or an assist.

Notes: Sophomore Matt Mongiardini threw a complete-game shutout to lead Temple past Saint Louis, 7-0, on Sunday at Skip Wilson Field. The nine-inning shutout was the first by a Temple pitcher since junior Arshwin Asjes shut out Saint Joseph's, 2-0, on March 26, 2006 and only the second in the last five seasons. Mongiardini scattered eight hits and recorded 14 fly-outs on the windy day in Ambler. He did walk five batters, but fought out of any jam that he found himself in. The sophomore stranded two runners each in the first, fourth and seventh, and left the bases loaded in the ninth to improve to 3-5.
